Trauma (including PTSD)

Trauma can arise in response to a challenging event(s) like an accident, natural disaster or abuse. Immediately after the event, shock and denial can occur, with longer-term reactions including unpredictable emotions and thoughts, strained relationships, issues with trust, stress, re-experiencing events, and physical symptoms like headaches, disturbed sleep or nausea. For some people, these longer-term reactions refuse to fade and impact on many aspects of life.

I aim to help you find constructive ways of making sense of your experience, processing what has happened, allowing you to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
